Many people will be going away for Christmas week and will require their framing back by Saturday 17th – not a problem for us but I will need to get all orders in by 4pm on Sunday 11th, in order to complete them by 15th or 16th.
Hanging Services available until Friday 23rd December – this service is by appointment only
Normal Framing, replacement glass, mounts and repair and refresh, need to be ordered by Sunday 18th December (by 4PM) – these will be returned when ready between 21st and 23rd December
Cross Stitches need to be ordered by Sunday 11th December (by 4PM)
Box Framing for 3D work (medals, sports equipment, memorabilia etc) Need to be ordered by Sunday 11th December (by 4PM)
Canvas Stretching need to be ordered by Thursday 8th December (by 6PM)
Special imported frame mouldings and Canvas Stretching can’t be assured as we are reliant on 3rd Parties and Shipping Agents. Please don’t leave things until the last minute, if you can avoid it as due to the nature of natural materials, seasonal supply chains and unexpected errors, it’s impossible for anyone to guarantee all jobs will be completed on time for Christmas – but it’s very rare for us not to meet our deadlines.
Orders can still be taken up to 12 noon on 24th December by these will not be ready until mid-January

The Gallery supports the 2022 Pershore Open Gardens
The Gallery is pleased to announce that it’ll be open on Sunday 12th June from 11am till 4pm in support of the 2022 Pershore Open Gardens. This is in addition to its normal Saturday 10am till 6pm hours.
The Gallery wishes to offer visitors to Pershore the opportunity to pop into the art gallery on the High Street during this beautiful and colourful event. Pershore is blessed with a number of great annual events and being part of the National Open Garden Scheme is just one of them.

Pershore Gardens
Most years about twenty gardens open in Pershore. This small town has been opening gardens as part of the NGS for 50 years, almost continuously. In those days the open gardens were in the Georgian heart of the town but now, gardens open from all over the town. Some gardens are surprisingly large, well over an acre, while others are courtyard gardens. All have their individual appeal and present great variety. The wealth of pubs, restaurants and cafes offer ample opportunities for refreshment while the Abbey and the River Avon are some of the many points of interest in this market town. Tickets, which take the form of a map and garden descriptions, are valid for both days. They can be purchased a week before the event at ‘Blue’ in Broad Street or at the Town Hall. On the weekend they can be bought at Number 8 Community Arts Centre in the High Street and any open garden.
Gardens are open all over the town including Bridge street B4084, Broad Street, Newlands, Defford Road, Station road, Cherry Orchard, Priest Lane & Hunter Rise (off Three Springs Road).
Admission: Adult: £7.50, Child: Free

Meet Acrylic Artist Di Shorleson
Friday 26th November 6pm to 8.30pm at The Gallery, 51 High Street, Pershore, WR10 1EU
Artist Di Shorleson
Inspiration for her landscapes comes from having lived in some of the UK’s most fabulous places. Formby in the North West; with its endless natural unspoilt beach and coastline; Sussex with some of the prettiest villages and sea views; and more recently, moving to the beautiful Worcestershire countryside bordering on the Cotswolds.

Di has painted for many years, developing her style along the way and she really enjoys the balance between chaos and control, and many a happy accident! Di absolutely adores texture and drama in atmospheric landscapes and enjoys capturing them in acrylics, watercolours, inks and sometimes a combination of these. The unpredictability of these mediums and the luminosity of her finished pieces create an interesting dynamic, producing experimental and expressive pieces of work.
Perhaps more importantly I love having fun with my materials and lose myself in the pleasure of creating a special piece of art that ultimately collectors will love and treasure.
